About ME!
Brandon Diaz is an Orlando-Based performer that specializes in musical theatre, with extensive training in singing, acting, and dancing. Currently you can find him in Athol, Idaho, robbing trains as "Dynamite Dan" and crooning country songs as one of the "Engineers" at Silverwood Theme Park (Summer 2024)!
Brandon has worked with RWS as a performer/vocalist/swing at the amusement park Santa's Village in Jefferson, New Hampshire. He has performed in many productions at his university, including Peter and the Starcatcher (Slank/ Hawking Clam), First Date (Swing U/S Man 2, Man 3), Mojada (Swing U/S Jason, Acan) and the Pegasus Playlab production of Race to Infinity (Swing U/S Samuel, Arturo). Brandon is entering his final year at the University of Central Florida, where he is studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, as well as a minor in dance. In his time here, he has trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, as well as Swing (Partnered) and Lyrical dance. Outside of his UCF dance training, Brandon attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts for highschool, where he was taught Ballroom, Jazz, and Tap from Ellie-Potts Barrett, as well as African and Latin dance styles from Christa Sylla.
Brandon has been trained in Estill Voice Technique by Tara Snyder, as well as taken private lessons from Richard Crawley. This training has given him a variety of experience in different music styles, such as Jazz, Pop, Classical, Opera, Country, and Rock. In addition to this vocal work, he has been trained in multiple dialects by Vivian Majowski, such as Northern England (Liverpool) Standard Southern (South Carolina), Cockney, and West Country (Pirate).
When Brandon isn’t performing, you can most likely find him baking a cake for him and his friends, exploring a new place, visiting the local amusement parks grounding himself with yoga, grooving at a local line dance club, or deeply honed in on his never ending study of Astrology.
